Tuition

Tuition is $50 per class, unless otherwise indicated
.  In select classes (indicated by “^”symbol) tuition may be higher due to the nature of the class.  Please refer to class descriptions. 

Registration Fee

There is a $15 registration fee per student.  Registrations received the week prior to each session are subject to an additional $10 late registration fee.

Supply Fees

Some classes charge a supply fee, which is generally $
10
or less.  Supply fees are collected with tuition payments and distributed to instructors to purchase materials for student projects. 


Summer Value Package
  
 
The Summer Value Package is available to all families requireing child care services in addition to SAFE classes.  For a fixed rate of $310 (plus supply fees) a child can take 4 classes per session and have unlimited access to the school age child care program at the school between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. 
  

To take advantage of this specially priced package parents must register in person at Community Extension Programs, 450 E. Wetmore between 8:30am-3:00pm and complete both the SAFE and the School Age registration forms simultaneously.  Please bring in a copy of your child's immunization records at the time of registration.  Families wishing to take advantage of this package do not have to wait for the designated registration dates.  Families may register as soon as the SAFE schedule of classes becomes available.

Payment Information

Payments may be made on-line via Visa/MasterCard at the time of registration or you may mail your payment to CEP, Attn: SAFE, 450 E. Wetmore, Tucson, AZ 85705.
Make checks payable to SAFE.  Session A payments are due by Thursday, May 20th.  Session B payments are due by Thursday, June 10th and Session C payments are due by Thursday, June 24th.

Refunds

Registration and supply fees are
non-refundable except when CEP cancels a class.  A 75% tuition refund will be given if a class is dropped by May 28th for Session A, June 11th for Session B and June 25th for Session C.  A 50% tuition refund will be given the week prior to each session.  No refunds will be issued after classes start.
