Online Classes
Welcome to Community Extension Program's Online Summer School Program!
Community Extension Programs, Inc. brings a higher standard of distance learning education to students and families. The basic core program in grades 9-12 has high quality, interactive online semester courses taught by certified teachers. Our distance learning program provides multimedia-rich curriculum aligning to state and national standards as well as numerous online tools for both parents and students.
Through CEP's online summer school program students have 9-weeks to complete a one semester course. CEP does not recommend that students take more than one online course at a time. It is also recommended that students speak with a counselor prior to registering for online classes to ensure registration in the correct class.
Once the student is registered he/she should contact the CEP office to activate and pay for the class. A CEP representative will assign the student with a user ID and password, go over necessary material/book fee information, and give instructions on getting started. The 9-week time-frame begins once the registration is paid and activated by a CEP representative.
If a course is recommended for fall semester credit, it should be completed no later than August 1st. On average, students can expect to work a minimum of two hours a day, 5-days a week in order to complete the class within the 9-week time frame.
Tuition is $225 per online semester course. Material/book fees vary per class.
Registrations for Online Summer School begins April 23, 2012.
