Program Info

    SAFE, short for "Summers Are Fun & Educational" is a summer enrichment program offered to students grades K-8.  SAFE classes provide students extended educational and enrichment opportunities.  SAFE classes foster students' growth, enabling them to excel, enrich and remediate.  SAFE classes are available for all Tucson students, grades K-8 in Tucson. 

    Previous SAFE classes include tennis, golf, candy making, cooking, digital photography, creative writing, spanish, math busters, dance & cheer, amazing archeologists, computers, drama, yoga, fun physical activities, special tutoring, etc.

     

    The 2012 SAFE Catalog will be available early April.  Please check back to view online or check-in with your school office about receiving copy.

    2012 SAFE Session Schedule

    Session A: June 4-June 15, 2012
      Session B:  June 18-July 29, 2012
     Session C:  July 9-July 20, 2012

                        SAFE Daily Schedule

               Period 1     8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
               Period 2     9:35 a.m. - 11:05 a.m. 
                Lunch      11:05 a.m. - 11:25 a.m.
               Period 3    11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
               Period 4      1:05 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

          The SAFE program offers three, two-week sessions.  
           Children may take up to four classes per session.
             Each class meets daily Monday through Friday.
